Funeral services for Mr. Larry Cooper will be held Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Springhill AME Church; burial will follow in the church cemetery. The remains will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Wills’ Funeral Service of Northport is in charge of all arrangements.
Public Viewing: Friday, 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Flower Deliveries: Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Mr Larry Cooper was a very good guy he our family mechanic and he was like a big brother to me his mom Mrs Dona and my mom were friends I am going to miss those inspirational text messages every day . He had a very sense of humor and love to cook. Mr Larry will be missed praying for his wife Mrs Doris and his son Vershawn for strength and comfort during this difficult time. Rest In Power my dear brother now you back with your sweet mom and my mom. We meet again take your rest big brother

Mr.Cooper was a good man he would help in anyway he could. When I moved back to Aliceville I would drop my son off at his apartment to catch the bus to school. I miss his inspirational messages already. May God give the family strength in knowing that he is resting in peace with the Lord.❤️ Take your rest Mr.Cooper
Larry’s daily bible verses were an inspiration to me and I will be forever grateful to him for that gift he gave to so many. A kind and a strong soul, just like his mother. Rest in Heaven my brother!!
