Funeral services for Ms. Murilene Ferguson, better known to friends as “Cookie,” will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at New Harvest Community Church. The Reverend Michael Anderson will officiate; burial will follow in West Highland Memorial Gardens. The remains will lie in state one hour prior to the service time at the church. Wills’ Funeral Service of Northport is in charge of all arrangements.
Public viewing: Monday, 12:00 noon–5:00 p.m.
Flower times: Monday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and Tuesday, 9:00 a.m.–9:15 a.m.

To my niece Michelle great nieces nephew you have my deepest sympathy in the death but heaven gain of your beloved sister and Mother. There are no words to express how much Cookie will be missed. I will miss her calls funny conversations but most of all miss her. God saw her road getting harder and came back and claimed his own. Praying with and for all of you in the future make her proud I know you will. Never good bye only good night auntie love you Cookie forever.
To my cousin more like a sister we had some fun times raising up here in Gary. I will miss our calls but love you forever my heart is truly broken. Love you cuz.
