To the entire Jackson and Kemp family , I would like to send my deepest condolences and prayers to you all for the loss of y’all love one Lester. I grew up loving this family and accepting them as my family as well; and they have always accepted me. Lester was full of love and dignity and no matter when I saw him he had always made me laugh , you have did your duty here on earth now it’s time for you to sit and rest at Gods feet. You will be truly miss by so many that love you️
Thank you for these sweet words.
I really don’t know where to start. I never believed I would be writing this. Many times we talked over the years as adults, but as kids we saw each other nearly everyday. We laughed at everything in fun. So many memories from school and those endless summers of playing baseball at the YMCA, the pool parties etc. We grew up, traveled the world by way of the armed services and above all we had our families. You became a “grandpa” before me and he was truly your world over. Our last conversation as you lay there, you told me “Bo I’m alright” with such a calmness. I told you to get some rest and I’d call you later but I waited and waited. I knew and I’m so sorry because I was scared you would not answer. We would talk in the wee hours of the morning and you would always answer. I’m sorry Lester.. I was just scared of what I knew to be true. My condolences to the Jackson and Kemp family. I will miss him as much as I still miss Daryl. Brothers always and a profound relative, you fought the good fight. Rest well in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus The Christ.
I’m glad you have fond memories to hold onto during this difficult hour. Please know that while his health was failing him, his soul was at peace. So, he truly meant, “I’m alright.” He’s in the BEST arms he could be — daddy has finally met The King! That’s something to rejoice about!
I believe in my heart that he was alright. I will always remember our talks especially in our later years of life
Prayers to Megan and Family , so sorry for your loss
Thank you <3
