Funeral services for Mr. Willie Lewis Lott will be held Saturday Sept. 20,2025 at 11am at First Baptist Church Northport, Pastor Carlos Calhoun will officiate burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park. The remains will lie in state one hour prior to service time at the church. Wills’ Funeral Service of Northport in charge of all arrangements.
*****At the request of the family there will be no public viewing at the funeral home, the remains will become viewable to the public one hour prior to service time at the church****
Flower times: Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-9:15am
We all knew him as Wolf. He will be greatly missed. To the family i love you all so much and my god wrap his arms you to give you comfort. REST IN PEACE MY FRIEND
Willie Lott is the name given at birth, but to those of us around the neighborhood, he is affectionately known as “Wolf.” Willie Lott, known affectionately known as Wolf :).
Wolf was not just a friend but a brother to me. Alongside Jerome, we formed an inseparable trio, sharing our upbringing on 15 Street Court, attending the same schools from our earliest days through high school, and nurturing dreams for the future together. Our days were filled with adventures in the neighborhood, and surrounding area of the city sharing so much fun, so much laughter, and so many heartfelt conversations that solidified our bond. Creating memories and dreams as we went venture into adulthood. Wolf’s kindness and compassion stood out, making him one of the most remarkable individuals I’ve had the privilege of knowing. His passing feels like almost losing a family member; the void he leaves is profound. “I’m devastated to hear you’re gone, my friend. I will never forget the happy times we shared when I’d visit home, making new memories and replaying old ones.
Your spirit and presence will always be felt in those special places and in the stories we’ll tell for years to Yet, I hold onto the cherished memories of our time together, which will remain with me for a lifetime. Although you are gone, Wolf, your spirit continues to shine in each joyful reminiscence. Even though you’re gone, your spirit lives on in every memory and every moment of joy.
