Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Vawters will be held Sat. Sept. 6, 2025 at 1pm at St. James Missionary Baptist Church in Cypress, Al. Minister Todd Crayton will officiate burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery in Moundville, Al. The remains will lie in state one hour prior to service time at the church. Wills’ Funeral Service of Northport in charge of all arrangements.
Public viewing: Friday 12noon-5pm
Flower times: Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-10:30am

My deepest condolences to my family. Remembering Betty as such a sweet and humble soul. I’ll always remember her at the family reunion, and the beautiful love she and cousin Ralph shared—it was so evident in all her posts. Now, you are an angel watching over the family. Rest in peace, Betty.
