Funeral services for Mr. James Charles will be held Saturday, Aug. 16,2025 at 1pm at St. John Baptist Church in Clinton, Al. Pastor Michael Lavendar will officiate burial will follow in the church cemetery. The remains will lie in state one hour prior to service time at the church. Wills’ Funeral Service of Northport in charge of all arrangements.
Flower times: Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-10:30am
Thanking God for honoring my
request; a short stay in the hospital without lingering and
major suffering + longevity in
good health practically most of
his 82 years.
My brother was tired and ready
to exit this earth into eternity.
I will miss the phone calls and
my annual visits. His saying was
“Jaybird ( my pet name from childhood ) it is what it is and that’s the way it is.” Also, he said
I belong to the WWH Club – no
work, no worry, no hurry. So I
have lifetime membership with
no fees…so think about joining.
Uncle James was one of s kind his favorite words were you know what I mean ….every time we spoke he would always say that and also say if you see anyone kin to me tell them I said hi… we’ll miss you Uncle James
