Funeral services for Mr. Kenneth Mahan will be held Saturday, August 9, 2025, at 11 am at New Zion Baptist Church with military honors. Pastor Greg Morris will officiate. Wills’ Funeral Service of Northport is in charge of all arrangements.
Public viewing: Friday 12 noon-5pm
Masonic Rites Friday 3pm
Flower times: Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-10am



Classmate and brother RIP.Central High School Class of 1980
I am so sorry to hear this was news. I met Ken in 2004 when we worked at Eastwood. We became fast friends and we always joked around and had inside jokes for one another when we ran into each other throughout the district. I am so sorry for his beautiful wife and family. You are all in my prayers!

Kenneth was a co-worker thru Tuscaloosa City Schools. I also got to know him thru one of their Eastern Star Sisters Mrs. Yashica McVay in which that is my daughter. You could always get a hello & a smile out of Kenneth. So I send my condolences to the rest of his entire Family!!!

My friend, my colleague, my mother’s keeper. He asked every time he saw me, referring to my mother, “How’s my teacher doing?” My mother and our family loved Kenneth so much. He was always helpful and supportive. We are all heartbroken. Rest well, my friend.
