Funeral services for Mr. Christopher Gilbert will be held Saturday January 8, 2022, at 1 pm in the main chapel of Wills’ Funeral Service, Rev. Robert Ellis will officiate. Wills’ Funeral Service of Northport is in charge of all arrangements.

My condolences to the family, Chris was a great friend of mine. I moved to Tuscaloosa in 2016 and he was the only one on short 17th that welcomed me to that neighborhood. We would sit on my porch for hours talking about life and laughing up a storm. I moved from the west in 2020 and barely saw him around until a month ago but it was like we never skipped a beat. No matter how many trials that man faced he would always have a smile on his face and always looked forward to a better day. Again, I am truly sorry for the family’s lost and would love to show my appreciation of him if I could possibly be pointed in the direction of his family. Fly high brother you will be truly missed.

Chris was a good young man he was my step son he always call me mom no matter where I was or who I was with I’m really going to miss him because we had picked up a very good bond together he would stop by and see me talk and ride off on his bike. Miss you son
