I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me but also to all who have longed for his appearing. The Pole Bridge Baptist Church Family would like to express our most sincere sadness at the passing of our Pastor, the Rev. Jimmy Horton. Our thoughts & prayers go out to his family. He was a wonderful fountain of wisdom, compassion, and inspiration to us all and he truly will be missed.

Ann, and Family: My sincere condolences are with you in the home-going of your beloved Rev. Horton. He was an inspiration to us all as he lived the life he talked about. His ministry touched so many far and near. He ministered and cared for the community in a special way. I will always remember the fond memories of his humor. Remember, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. This is that blessed hope of all who fall asleep in Jesus Christ. Prayers are with you in the days and weeks to come. Lean on the only arms that will be able to keep you; GOD Almighty. Love to you all.
