Condolences, with deepest sympathy, to the family of Ms. Lucille G. Williams. I didn't personally know Ms. Williams, but I do know the pain of losing a loved one in death. I also know that the creator of life, Jehovah God, never purposed for humans to die. In fact, his purpose was for humans to live forever in a paradise earth (Genesis 2:15-17). His purpose has not changed. God hates death and calls it an enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26). He has promised a time when there will be no more mourning and no more death (Revelation 21:4). Since God knows how much we love and miss our dead loved ones, he has made provisions for us to see them again through the resurrection hope - for he promises "there is going to be a resurrection" (Acts 25:15). Since he is a God who "cannot lie" (Titus 1:2), we can be assured of his promises. Please find answers to questions such as why do we die? "where are the dead?" "will suffering ever end?" etc., at www.jw.org. May the God of all comfort provide your family a measure of comfort during this time of your loss (2 Corinthians 1:3,4).

Family, I am saddened to hear of Lucille's homegoing. I didn't see her when I was home for my mother's services but I knew she was there. May God comfort each of you and help you find peace in his Word. This is Cousin Addie and Johnny's daughter.
