To the Family of Mrs. Thomas, My deepest condolences on the death of your loved one. I did not know Mrs. Thomas nor do I know your family, but we all have felt the sting of death at one time or another. In reading the obituary I noticed Mrs. Thomas's smile, one that no doubt brought pleasure to those who knew her. Death is an enemy to all and we can be comforted in knowing that soon now our Heavenly Father (Jehovah) will bring it to an end. Revelation 21:3,4 It is at times like this that many ask the question, Why do we die, Why do bad things happen to good people, and how can I cope with the death of my loved one? I have always been comforted by the bibles answers. Please visit www.jw.org to find answers to these questions about death. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ gave a hopeful promise at John 5:28,29 about those sleeping in death when he said , Do not be amazed when those in the grave hear his voice come out to a Resurrection. God has given us the hope of a paradise when all the problems of this life will be gone. What a hope for you and your dear loved one that has fallen asleep in death. The God of comfort cares deeply about your pain and grief and so do I. 1 Peter 5:7 mcbodiford@yahoo.com
